" “It was always very clear that I wanted to study dentistry. It is a career that has always caught my attention. I searched several options and one of them was a university in Portugal. I heard something about Egas Moniz. After some paperwork, I succeeded in being admitted in this institution. On the one hand I was happy because I was going to study what I had wanted since childhood, but then I was afraid. At first, sometimes, I thought, "But why should I be in another country, with another language? I've got myself into trouble!" Right now, honestly, I feel very fortunate to be here, and by so many reasons: It is a university with a prestigious MSc in Dentistry, students have many practical classes and well-trained teachers, there is a great atmosphere, people are nice, and there is a lot of friendship and a unique academic spirit.
For convenience, I decided to live at the Egas Moniz University Residence, which I don’t regret. The residence is fantastic, the facilities are excellent and we have the freedom to do whatever we want, despite respecting rules. From my point of view, one of the advantages of living in the residence is the proximity to school and the 24 hour security service. It's almost like home! "
