Message from the Chairman of the Board of Escola Superior de Saúde Egas Moniz

The Escola Superior de Saúde Egas Moniz (Egas Moniz Higher School of Health (ESSEM)), created through Decree-Law 381/99 of 22 September, and governed by Egas Moniz – Cooperativa de Ensino Superior, C.R.L. currently boasts around 17 years of an intense and fruitful teaching activity that has stood its ground and is acknowledged by peers, not just at a national level, but also internationally. It offers basic academic training in the fields of Health and Nursing Technology and has therefore set up a series of degrees that offer a myriad of opportunities in the various sectors of these professional areas. Today, they are considered an integral and mandatory part of any team operating in healthcare.
