Uni.Network

The Uni.Network project launched by GRACE – Grupo de Reflexão e Apoio à Cidadania Empresarial (Study Group Supporting Corporate Citizenship), which Egas Moniz joined in 2017/18, arose given the increasing importance of raising awareness to the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship as well as being in line with the European policies of 2020 Europe and the Sustainable Development Goals, which is a United Nations initiative.

The Uni.Network Project aims at bringing the employees of GRACE Associates closer to the academic world in terms of corporate volunteering related to skills and to introduce the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility in the education of university students and future professionals. According to António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, ‘Students who understand the values of corporate responsibility, sustainability, and ethics can be more effective change-makers and their work can advance the common good.’

Within the scope of the Uni.Network Project, we emphasise the GRACE Academy activities, namely the possibility of our students running for its prize.

Those who present the best papers to the GRACE Academy shall be awarded with the opportunity of a professional experience in the form of a Summer Internship in a GRACE Associate and privileged contact with corporate social responsibility among other departments.
